Levelling Up Physics at Hull University

If you are in Year 12 and are interested in studying physics or a related subject at degree level, then you are invited to apply for our free programme of online physics tutorials called Levelling Up Physics. The aim of Levelling Up Physics is to support more students from backgrounds under-represented in physics to apply for and study physics at university.

Levelling Up Physics can support you with:

• 10 weekly tutorials between 29th April and 15th July 2026 covering key physics topics
• Focus on problem solving skills and applications of physics
• Advice on university application from current physics undergraduate students

Am I eligible?

All Year 12 physics students are welcome to apply but as we have a limited number of places available, we prioritise applications from local students who are from backgrounds under-represented in physics in higher education.
