Winter Workshop on Stellar, Galactic and Extragalactic Astrophysics

This workshop is an opportunity to showcase recent advancements in stellar, galactic and extragalactic astrophysics ranging from stellar nucleosynthesis, the chemistry of the interstellar medium to galaxy evolution to galaxy cluster physics. With surveys and experiments such as LSST, the Square Kilometre Array, KM3NeT, as well as state of the art simulation suites such as COLIBRE, Horizon-AGN and FIRE, this workshop serves as an opportunity for the UK community to get together, share our current knowledge and plan further progress.

This will be a space for discussion, developing networks and fostering collaboration between researchers from institutions across the country and beyond. PhD students and early career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts; we will be offering both spots for both oral and poster presentations. There will also be refreshment breaks throughout the day to provide a time to network and discuss ideas.
